The Sox won 6-0. Jermaine Dye hit a grand slam, and Jim Thome hit two solo home runs. Buehrle faced the minimum 27 batters. Sammy Sosa reached on a walk in the fifth inning, but Buehrle picked him off first base. Best Cubs game: Probably when their arrogant fans had to eat crow after getting swept out of the playoffs by the Diamondbacks. Mark Buehrle’s no-hitter against the Texas Rangers on 4/18. Jim Thome hit his 500th HR of his career. That's awesome! And to make it better, it was in WALK-OFF FASHION! Not many times do you get to see a walk-off homer for #500.
